Dear members and friends of Midhurst Milers

A quick update about Lockdown 2.0 and what this means for our club.

We take our lead from England Athletics and they have issued the following guidance:

  • You can train with your household or one other person in a public outdoor space

  • 1:1 coaching can take place in a public outdoor space following social distancing measures

  • Virtual training sessions can be delivered by qualified coaches

  • Virtual competitions will still take place

You can read the full guidance here.

Midhurst Milers

As a club, Midhurst Milers will be suspending group training sessions but we will be setting virtual challenges, tasks and activities during Lockdown which comply with the guidance from England Athletics. For details, please keep an eye on the WhatsApp Group.

If you plan to run with someone on a 1:1 basis we recommend that you make your own arrangements and observe the guidance from England Athletics. With this in mind, if you are running could you please consider meeting points other than the Grange.

It is important that we not only do the right thing, but are seen to be complying with any restrictions.

The health and wellbeing of our members remains our priority.

Enjoy your running, and I’m sure it won’t be too long before we are all running together again.

Thank you all. Nick.
