Predict-a-time run.

A race with a difference, where anyone can win.

This race is usually run without watches and uses just a timekeeper. But in these times, that’s not possible, so some adaptation and honesty is required.

This is how it works:

Four mile course, full details below:

  • Please only run once, no practising please

  • Before running, please predict your finishing time and send it to Nick. No time, no prize

  • You can predict any time you wish from 5 min/mile to 15/min

  • You can even walk if you wish

  • Start you watch, phone etc as you start, and time your run

  • No checking of your watch until you press ‘finish’ at the end

  • The runner with the closest finishing time to their prediction is the winner
